•Temporarily develops AGV, intended manufacturing line automation, for virus UV disinfection.

• Additional expense is less than 70kTHB.

• Our wishes are to save lives and maintain FFT production.

Furukawa FITEL (Thailand) R&D team is dedicated to advancing integration of automation, robotics and artificial intelligence (A.I.) which can also be improvised to contribute to the realization of highly-prioritized employees’s health care.

According to current situation of pandemic corona virus worldwide, an urgent task is to inactivate the spreading virus in the environment. To achieve high sanitization, UV-C cleaning is an answer. UV-C light exposure can 99.9% effectively inactivates pathogens of virus in few minutes. This innovative device can work automatically and autonomously under customizable settings, such as UV exposure cycle and locations to be achieved. Safety features of this device include an ability to hold operation when human is around and to continue working when it is safe. Such requirement has been achieved by using our in-house A.I. based human detection system.

Sanitization

  • Attack microorganism for stopping cell reproduction by UV-C light (λ = 254 nm) with 99.9% effective
  • Achieve non-toxic (non-residual left after cleaning)
  • Customize cleaning cycle, setup, time, motion, and wait mode setting for cleaning cycles for each unit

Hardware

  • Detect human by 4 cameras for 360-degree view
  • Drive on 2 modes: remote control and autonomous based on predefined mapping
  • Operate 750 m2 with 8 hours per charge (2 hours for battery full charge)
  • Work compatibly between autonomous robot and CPU for automatic UV exposure
  • Abort operation or stop movement when emergency occurs
  • Avoid object collision and re-routes at least 0.5 meter
  • Check function daily for virtual work
  • Limit UV harmful to human organs at 3 meter/ 15 minutes
  • Monitor fluorescence to show UV status instead of direct turning on UV
  • Operate UV depending on human detection and robot status
  • Stop operation when human is detected by A.I (6-meter detection)
  • Try to re-route in 30 seconds a point, abort mission if cannot reach 2 points continuously
  • Use siren light to warn people around (at standby and operation points)
